Not sure if this is unpopular, it may be depending on what you look at, but I feel many of the problems people have with the adaptions from Seasons 3 and 4 are rather small, and I can easily overlook them. I can see what people may mean with episodes like Rusty to the Rescue and The Trouble with Mud, but otherwise, I don't mind 'em.

and I've never really liked Diesel 10 that much.

1. I don't like Season 2 that much.
2. I don't have a favourite character, I like all them, although I sometimes question characters' uses.
3. I wait for episodes to be broadcast on TV instead of watching them on YouTube. I haven't even seen The Adventure Begins and I don't even think it's coming out outside the US anytime soon.
I thought Calling All Engines! was pretty good, sure it's not as good compared to some of the later movies but it was a new idea at the time. The Engines and Escapades DVD was another experiment and we've seen more of those happen.
4. I don't like combining the US version with the UK version, such as narrators and voice actors. Sure, the US has things made especially for their country, but I see the UK version as the primary dub, and nothing else matters.
5. I do not refer to Seasons 1-7 as the Classic Series, and Season 8-12/18 as the New Series. People are only using those terms and limit discussing the series as so because that's how someone wrote them up on the Thomas Wikia eight years ago. Besides, everyone has different meaning on what those terms actually mean. People do Seasons 1-4, 1-5, 5-7, 6-7, 1-7, 8-12, 12-16, 13-16, 17-18, 13-18, 8-18, and so on.

I think that most of the season 8-12 "one-offs" have no personality. With the exceptions of Billy, Dennis, Hector, Whiff, and maybe Rosie, all the one-offs, and some of the CGI characters, like Captain, have the same cookie-cutter "engine who tries to be really useful" personality. That isn't to say they don't have potential, they just need lots of development to make them interesting.

That one isn't that unpopular. I think that most of the S8-12 characters have no personality. Particularly Flora, but that is because the writers gave her 1 line every 2 minutes and it was dominated by Thomas.

I really like every Series 5 episode. Haunted Henry, which people like, is in my top 5 episodes, but I even like Toby's Discovery and Snow.

I think it's split about 50/50 personally. Either you love it or hate it, there's no middle ground !

I always felt like I was in the middle with it! I don't hate it but I think there are much better specials!

I like ERTL, but it has problems that make me prefer Take Along and Take 'n' Play to it. I think the wrong type of plastic was used for the hook and loop connectors, so they broke easily and the models were useless after that. The wheels were also thin and broke easily. Them U-hook connetors wore down too easily and broke almost every other model. The paint also chipped off easily. Aside from that, the models were very accurate and I liked the tender being join to the tank for some reason. Take 'n' Play may not be as accurate, but they dont break as easily (although the magnets aren't that strong).

1. Tickled Pink is one of my least favourite episodes of Season 13. I used to think it was alright, but after rewatching it, some parts absolutely anger me, especially considering that all of the engines who harass James are never once reprimanded. Also, James gets mocked just for being pink, yet Rosie isn't even though she's the exact same colour, which just adds fuel to the fire for me.
2. I don't have any problem with Freddie and actually consider him to be one of my favourite New Series characters, aside from Stanley and Hector. Aside from a muddled-up backstory and how he acted towards Skarloey and Rheneas in his debut episode, he seems pretty interesting, and I hope he returns.

I think it would be better for Freddie if he was one of the old Mid Sodor Railway Engines, which makes sense as Sir Handel knows him and Skarloey and Rheneas didn't. I think he could be good if they went down a different route with his age.

1) Even though most people think that Tickled Pink, Victor Says Yes, Stop that Bus!, and Percy and the Calliope are the best episodes of their seasons, I prefer Snow Tracks, Thomas in Charge, Henry's Happy Coal, and Happy Birthday Sir! I don't think they are good, I just think they are better.
2) I don't find Stanley that special. He's fine, but he was never really one of my favourites. (With that said, I would like to see him more.

I don't really see them episodes as being that special either. Victor Says Yes is OK, but I think Flash Bang Wallop is my favourite S13-16 episode.

I think the S2 episode *Thomas, Percy, and the Coal* is a pretty boring episode, and the conflict between Thomas and Percy in it was resolved far too quickly. The Missing Coach episode should have been finished and aired instead.

I really think that they didn't need to re-record the voices from the British version to the American version, AS LONG AS the American vocals were used. (I like George Carlin better than Ringo Starr, but because Starr is my second favorite narrator after Carlin, it would be a shame if he wasn't used.) That being said, if they were going to use the British narrations, I am happy that they re-recorded the voices.

Honestly Thomas in Charge is a very stupid episode to me. It may one of the better episodes, but it still has very little to it. Mavis and Percy are stupid and Thomas is the idiot we all know...and maybe hate. Maybe some love it, I don't really know.

@John I think it's the fact that Rosie is a female, which... does... have a stereotype. I think for them it was so hilarious seeing James a different color other than red was the main thing. They're never reprimanded sure, but in other episodes like Gordon Runs Dry the engines were never scolded for teasing. I think James realizing that pink is a good color was enough. Although... it could've been better. Instead of the girls say "OMG PINK IS MAH FAV!" as a reason, have James realize that being pink isn't a stereotype or... something. It's not as good as I remember it, but still, it's decent.

Do you mean that they shouldn't have got Ringo Starr to re-narrate the show for America (by changing trucks to cars etc) and they should have got George Carlin to do the US dub from the start? I think Starr only did it because he played Mr Conductor on Shining Time Station and Carlin renarrated it because they would use any S1-4 episode on Shining Time Station when Carlin took over as Mr Conductor.

I definitely think HiT should've included Israel in their international Thomas reinnovations, perhaps even getting the RWS to be translated into Hebrew for the 70th Anniversary, and signing deals for further dubs and sales of Merchandise.

I really think the TATMRR isn't overrated, because most true Thomas fans (not me! ) hate it. ( )
