He's got a point actually.

Personally, the writers got a baseline, and if they do it right BoCo could get a really nice, fleshed out personality

If the James and the Diesel Engines stories were adapted in Season 5, Old Stuck-Up could have came to temporally replace Gordon while he was at the works during the events of A Better View for Gordon.

yeah, that would work. They'd have to bring Back Kirk Ronan.
