1. I feel like Alec Baldwin was only a fill in narrator and wasn't suppose to be permanent.
2. I prefer Willie Rushton and Ted Robbins' narrations over Ringo Starr and Michael Angelis' narrations.
3. Stop That Bus! and Percy and the Calliope aren't that good.

More opinions...!
1. I don't really think the RWS narrators are that good.
2. Toby and the Whistling Woods has a couple more good things than I remember. (Despite that, it's still a terrible episode.)
3. Keith Wickham and Tim Whitnall are really bad at disguising their voices now.

Still, that doesn't mean it's an unpopular opinion.

I agree with the incarnation of the character from Seasons 8-16 but outside there can you explain why you don't like him?

He's just insolent, rude, idiot-faced, and overall unlikeable.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Honestly, I have to agree. The "cheeky tank engine" doesn't work well in the lead role. Someone like Percy or Edward would have been more suitable to me. That said, I don't dislike him as a character.
Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Or just not have a lead role or title character like Tugs.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Thomas was chosen as the lead role because he could be relatable to kids. It helps that Thomas isn't cheeky all the time and learns from his mistakes.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
I do not want any new characters in the series, only returnees and the characters from the Railway Series.

1. Seasons 5-7 are so perplexing.
2. The returning characters need more episodes and screen time then the overused SteamTeam or CGI characters.
3. Most of the New Series characters don't need to return.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Question: How are S5-7 perplexing?
Also, really/ The Steam Team are the main characters of the show; how the heck are they overused besides Thomas? And CGI characters? They don't get that much screentime to begin with! Also, just saying; Toad got three episodes already, Duck got three, Bill and Ben got around five maybe, Harvey got... three(?), and Duncan got two. Sure, they could be used more but so could other characters like Stafford.
I agree on the last part though.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Seasons 5-7 are perplexing because the quality they turned to feels like a mixture of ups and downs.
Maybe Edward, Toby and Emily need more focusing but James and Percy are used almost as much as Thomas. Duck and Oliver need more screen time because they only appeared in 3-6 episodes since they returned.

I actually don't really mind the steam team in the Brenner era, but i would like them to add more characters to the team like Duck, Oliver, Donald and Douglas.

First, off you could argue S3 and S17 are also "perplexing" because of the shifts in quality. Second, Duck appeared nine times since his return, and that's not including cameos. And often his roles are pretty big. Oliver appeared seven times since his return, and again, that's not including cameos. Sure they could be used more but you can't act like they're preciously underused (Except Oliver should get a lead role...).

For most the changes in Season 3 and 17 were good changes. The changes of Seasons 5-7 appear to be mixed by fans.

I don't consider Season 8 as part of the dark era, but i also don't consider it as part of the Classic era. I actually Season 8 as the seasom before the dark era (Pre-Dark era).
I actually feel Sodor's Legend of the Lost Treasure could of been made as a proper movie.

I actually liked Seasons 8-11. They weren't as good as 1-5, but they were different in a good way.
Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
I must respectfully disagree; while I will admit they had their moments, seasons 8-11 are, for me, part of the dark era
