Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Well, Edward could talk to Toby, as they seem to be on the same intellectual page - Though, on different lines.
I dislike Bill and Ben.

BoCo would make more since to talk to Edward then Toby. If they made Toby fully go back to his original persona he could look out for Thomas and Percy on the branch line.

1. I don't get why people overlook S6-7.
2. Duncan's CGI render is fine to me.
3. While nice, I don't get why people want Rosie and Stanley back in the show.

5. I don't think BoCo or Duke need to return.
6. Not everything has to be Season 4-esque...
I disagree with the normal ones.
I agree with the bold ones. Turns out I'm not the only one who doesn't mind Duncan's CGi render, huh?

two more:
I actually don't mind Henry still being in his Season 8+ personality in the Brenner era (ducks for cover)
I prefer the Skarloey engines CGI whistles compared to their model era whistles.

Some more opinions from me:
- I prefer Annie and Clarabel how they look in the TV series over their Railway Series looks.
- The Christmas Tree Express is my least favourite episode of the TV Series. Yes, I hate it more than Wonky Whistle, Up, Up and Away, Percy's New Friends, Fiery Flynn, Thomas and the Rubbish Train, Thomas and the Sounds of Sodor and Sodor Surprise Day!
- Buffer Bashing is my least favourite Railway Series story. Stephen Hatt and the painter failed to understand that Douglas' breaking of the buffers was an accident.
- New Little Engine is my least favourite RWS book. Why? It wasted the potential for Ivo Hugh and Fred the Diesel.

They probably would of gave Ivo Hugh and Fred personas if the RWS kept going.

Finally someone who thinks the same as I do! That's the only one I can agree with, since I've never read The Railway Series (yes, I said that).ArthurEngine wrote:Some more opinions from me:

1. I think the Sodor Search and Rescue team (mainly the vehicles) and the Sodor Dieselworks are pointless.
2. I prefer Harold at Dryaw instead of the Sodor Search and Rescue Centre.
3. Even though I hate Rusty to the Rescue I don't mind Stepney living on Sodor. He could be private-owned engine along with his branch line.

I don't think that's an unpopular opinion. I, for one, agree with it.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
What exactly does Harold do at Dryaw? I've never really understood what's wrong with his job at the rescue centre.
I do agree that New Little Engines was the worst book of the RWS though. Fred never did anything besides being mentioned, and Ivo Hugh, the star of the book, never spoke. And before people say "it takes time to build an engine", Jock was already completely built and speaking in the third story of his own book.

How are the SSART pointless? Belle and Flynn fight fires, which is important; Butch tows road vehicles, which is also important; Harold can rescue people...goes without saying; Rocky can lift things back onto the rails, and Captain can preform sea jobs. If it's that the grouping isn't necessary, wouldn't that kinda be like saying that the Clay Pits grouping isn't necessary? And the Dieselworks... eh. I can see why but I'm fine with it existing.
And why should Harold be at Dryaw? Seriously, what does he do there? For most of S3-7 I never got what he did there. He just sorts of sits there and waits for engines to pass by.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Maybe Butch, Rocky and Captain are good there but they have fire engines they could use instead of Belle and Flynn. What's the point of having a fire engine that could go both on rails and road?

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
If there's a fire that can only be accessed by rail, then a fire engine that can run on rails would be suitable for the task. If it can only be accessed by road, then a fire engine that can run on the roads would be suitable for that fire. I don't think Flynn's pointless at all in all honesty.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
Considering there aren't any road fire engines in CGI, Belle and Flynn's existence is pretty crucial.

Normal: not sure
Line: disagree
Not sure on lady because although TATMRR is good IMO I just don't see her returning, plus it wouldn't be the same without Britt Allcroft voicing her.
Bertram is good IMO and if Britt stayed at Gullane he would have been expanded I'm pretty sure
Thumper is good because we don't have much for sentient machinery
Billy is VERY annoying
Not sure on Neville, Molly or Flora, all have small amounts of potential
Hank has no final purpose to come back

I think they should air Season 15 all this year.
Why?

More Opinions
1. I prefer George Carlin's narrations of Seasons 1-2.
2. I don't like how the US airs episodes and seasons.
3. I think the rest of the major Awdry characters will return before any Hit characters.

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
How is the third one an opinion? It's probably true anyway.
And I agree with the first one; I always thought Ringo Starr was boring.
Can you elaborate on the second one?

I think he means that Wal-mart releases 4-5 episodes at the start of the year, then we have to wait several months for the rest

Re: Unpopular Thomas Opinions
TBH I don't really mind the episodes being released in Walmart beforehand, it's only when the wait for the other episodes is ridiculously long is when it gets annoying (referring to S19, of course). Anyway, here are some more opinions of mine:
1. Tim Whitnall isn't a very good voice actor. He has a nice, soothing tone to his voice, but too many characters sound similar to each-other. Mike is literally just Reg with a deeper voice and a Cornish accent.
2. Snow Tracks is better than Tickled Pink.
3. Excluding the shoddy paint, fake trailing wheels, larger WR magnets, etc., the Take-n-Play range is better than the TrackMaster redesign.
4. Skiff's WR model isn't the worst WR model there is, I'd say that Oliver the Excavator is far worse, and not just because of the lack of treads.
