Re: Future of the Railway Series
But getting back on track for this thread:
Although there has been no news, I think a new book this year about the Skaroey railway would've been appropriate, considering that it is Talyllyn and Dolgoch's 150th birthday. And by extension, Skarloey and Rheneas'

We can't!!
I think that they should just publish the ERS from SiF. They are great books!

The only problem is that it would take a while and I don't think it'd work that well. It'd cause issues like Rosie being in the RWS now for some reason, along with other things.

Re: Future of the Railway Series
Rosie is in the ERS?
You're right, though. It'd take the magic away from SiF.

I still wonder why Rosie was introduced but Emily wasnt.

Re: Future of the Railway Series
Where can I find the extended railway series? It sounds interesting.

The guide to it is here: http://www.sodor-island.net/ersdatabase/ To read the actual books, though, you have to be on SiF. ( http://sodor.proboards.com )

Thanks; I'll be sure to check them out when I get the chance.

I think it's safe to say the Railway Series won't be adding more installments. But I think they'll be remembered.

Re: Future of the Railway Series
I feel that, with the state of the series, either option (Either Chris, Richard, or someone else takes up the torch, or not) is very possible.

Maybe Richard will get into it though I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Re: Future of the Railway Series
Back on topic: Anyone want to contact Richard and ask him if he wants to do it/ask him to do it/force him to do it?
Re: Future of the Railway Series
Or ask Brenner if he would like to take over?

Re: Future of the Railway Series
Say, that's the best idea yet. Andrew Brenner taking over!
"Thomas & Friends, based on the Railway Series by the Rev. W. Awdry, Christopher Awdry, and Andrew Brenner.
Written by Andrew Brenner."
That's actually a good idea, and I'm not being sarcastic. What say we contact Rich & Andy?

I would take the torch, and continue the RWS til I die.
