Favorite Thomas Characters

It's just as the title implies. Tell us who your favorite Thomas character(s) is/are, why you like them, and how they may have affected you.

My favorite Thomas character is Duck because he's proud of his heritage and is a hard worker. Duck affected me by teaching me to be proud of my heritage and doing the "Great Western Way" of doing things.

I always liked Henry. Can't really explain why though

My favorites - Edward, Toby, Duck, and SIR TOPHAM HATT.

1. They are wise and intelligent, and you hardly see them get into trouble.
2. Their personalities are very intriguing.
3. Sir Topham Hatt is possibly related to Winston Churchill.

I also like The Diesel. (As in, the engine of many names. )

James, I've always just adored his personality plus red is my favorite color. He really shows that you can still be really useful even with many flaws c:

They need to select a name for him and stick with it. I've always enjoyed 'Class 40'. It is in a similar fashion to 'Diesel 10', and seems to be a better name as opposed to 'The Diesel'.

I always liked The Diesel, personally, although for a time I called him Class 40.

Edward is my pick. There is just something about him that draws me to him. And love the design of his face.

My favorite character would be.....Duck. He's a hard worker and wants to do a good no matter what the job is or if he doesn't like the job.

My favorite is Luke. So wuvable!

I've got several favourites - after all, one cannot just have the one!

As a young child: Percy. He was excitable, eager and often a little silly which summed up my personality as a kid too! I think I saw a similar character in him and hence he was my firm favourite!

Now that I'm all old and wise (heh) I have several favourites:
Edward - Who can ignore such selflessness and respect; he is a very kind and well balanced character who seems to take on the natural 'teacher' role. He usually is there to help and guide anyone who seeks out his assistance and rarely admits defeat.
James - He may be a little brash and proud but there's something rather likeable about him. Very self confident at times but with this almost vulnerable under layer. James is a difficult character to fathom for me; whereas Edward's feelings are often clearly shown, James tends to cover his behind bluster and sarcastic remarks - although these are rarely meant and often the red engine apologises for his misconceptions. (Also - glorious bright red paint. Winner winner!)
Duck - Always standing up for what he believes in, Duck shows that you should always have an opinion or thought about something. Despite the teasing endured, he's a very proud engine which I also admire in a character. He is good natured in his ways and offers help to those who need it, more so to those who ask.

But my favourite right now? Oliver. I was always amazed when reading Oliver's story about how brave he was when on the run. And despite Oliver finding out that pride really does come before a fall, he was always quick to own up to his mistakes. There is a defiant and determined side to Oliver, a need to almost prove himself and show he was worth saving. He shares that Great Western pride with Duck and as I mentioned, this is another aspect of character that I like.

My favorite is Duck because despite being a smaller engine he's not scared too stand up against the bigger engines, he's also a hard worker too.

I'm a fan of Oliver too, because he has a great story, also he has flaws such as getting big headed once the engines complimenting him and getting into trouble in the turntable.

I like Boco because he's a really friendly Diesel and proves that all Diesels don't start off nasty.

I'm gonna write about Oliver when Im done with Henry.
