The Reverend had lived long enough to at least see TATMR?

He'd probably publish a response in the newspaper or to Britt Allcroft himself.

Though to be honest if the Reverend was alive I don't think they'd even have made TATMRR to begin with.

Not sure; but given how the reverend responded to Henry's forest, imagine his response to the movie.

Season 5 wouldn't have existed.

That's actually true; I think the Reverend died around when Season 5 began production. If he was alive, he'd probably call Britt Allcroft out on it.

I think he'd be really mad if he saw Seasons 17 thru 19. Remember that Andrew Brenner wrote Henry's Forest.

Then maybe it would have been better than it turned out. I think these reasons should be enough:

1. Thomas wouldn't have appeared in all the episodes.
2. Toby and Henry wouldn't have been slowly trashed in personalities.
3. Certain characters wouldn't have been dropped for a while.
4. Racism towards Diesels wouldn't have happened.
5. Emily would have kept her S7 persona. Fans would have accepted her better, and I wouldn't have hated her for several years.

Maybe it never would have gone to CGI!

What if Stepney was introduced in Thomas and Stepney and Rusty to the Rescue didn't exist and if Seasons 5-16 were made in Season 4 quality with Brenner being head writer starting in Season 7/8 onward.

S4 had Rusty to the Rescue; that isn't exactly "top-notch quality".

And I think they'd still go to CGI. Mostly because the models would still be too expensive.

I said what if Stepney was introduced in Thomas and Stepney instead of Rusty to the Rescue for the first part. RTTR was also just a bad episode. Why you probably know there's also fans who don't like to follow Seasons 5, 6 or 7.

They probably would of waited tell Season 17 so more characters and locations could be rendered and Nitrogen wouldn't of never animated the show.

I think the show either could be better or worse. Season 8's quality wasn't fantastic but it'd probably go like that. I'd say the one-off thing would still happen but maybe characters wouldn't get as bad.

On the other hand, someone worse could've written...

Honestly, I think the show would hit rock bottom. The episodes would get worse and worse and everyone would be more unlikable. And, personally, I'd have given up on the show.

What if Brenner was a episode writer editor during Seasons 3-7?

I think the episodes in S3 would be more faithful to his work and S5-7 would probably be a bit better.

What if Disney films had "British" dubs, in addition to the "American" ones, a la T&F, Bob the Builder and Chuggington?
