Date Order and Comma Usage
Hey, I do this on other wikis too, but I see a lot of errors of birthday (or other dates) order and the oxford comma usage. I think that any dates, including birthdays, should be in order by month-day-year, not day-month-year. And also as for the oxford comma usage, there should be a comma before and, only if three or more nouns are listed. I can/could do all this myself, like I have been before, but I would really appreciate it if others would help me too. In fact, some pages are protected.
Thank you,

Re: Date Order and Comma Usage
I don't mean to be rude, but that's not a good response. Oh and another thing I forgot to put up there is please do not add th, nd, rd, or anything at the end of a number, like a date for example.

Re: Date Order and Comma Usage
Sorry for the brash reply, but you should not go about this. In the UK, people who the day-month-year format for writing dates. In the States, we use month-day-year format. If we're talking about the 13th day of the May in the year 2017, then in the US you would write May 13, 2017. However, the TTTE Wikia goes by UK format in all of its writings, and thus they write it as 13 May 2017.
In other words, yours is a foolish quest that would anyway just get changed back. Friendly word of advice: don't go down this route.

And don't forget about the oxford comma usage.

Re: Date Order and Comma Usage
They don't use that with dates in the UK; did you not read my response above?
Re: Date Order and Comma Usage
Oh, I see what you're saying. People in the UK don't use the oxford comma in lists.
Let's say I have a list of:
Dogs
Bikes
Sheep
Motorcycles
In the US, one would write it as follows: dogs, bikes, sheep, and motorcycles.
In the UK, one would write it as follows: dogs, bikes, sheep and motorcycles.
It's not wrong, it's just the way they do it. Again, the wiki is using the UK way of grammar and punctuation, so do not, I repeat, do not change it. You're going against their manual of style.

Re: Date Order and Comma Usage
Well, I'm sorry, and now I understand what you mean by the UK format, but I have changed a lot already.

Re: Date Order and Comma Usage
Does this mean they all have to be reverted back the way they were before?
