Barry the Rescue Engine (Speculation)
Here we can speculate about the cancelled book "Barry the Rescue Engine."
I'd like to start with a question; had Barry been introduced, where would it make the most sense for him to work on the NWR? I'm thinking the Little Western. Any thoughts?

Hmm...I guess it depends on where you feel the engine would be most useful if you know what I mean.

Killdane? More-or-less centrally located, at a junction between the main line and the Peel Godred Branch, and we haven't seen much of that line outside of Whiff's Waste Dump.

Interesting idea; much better than mine. Although the Little Western is cool, you do have a point of showing more of Sodor off to others.
