Goofs
* Annie and Clarabel are interrupted by Emily's first coach, with the second behind Clarabel.
* When Ant Man lands on Clarabel's roof, the top of an American caboose that wasn't there can be seen.
* In the shot where Thomas is about to run over Ant Man, his face is a hybrid between his CGI face and his Bachmann H0 Scale one.
* Thomas has two different whistle sounds, both of which are wrong.

My apologies, I'm not sure I understand; what exactly is this thread for?

When Thomas is reference in other media, post it here! Like Thomas appearing in the Ant Man trailer, or the classic "Pop Goes the Diesel" line in The Avengers (the 60s TV show, not the Marvel masterpiece).
Re: Thomas References
Lol, that Thomas reference was cute.
Though like IaG roiL said, there are goofs... which are expected when people implement Thomas and don't know much about him. In that head-on closeup shot, which I'm certain is CGI, his siderods aren't seen. Animators either didn't include them or maybe they aren't that wide on his Bachmann model.

Did a Hornby Thomas appear in one of the Harry Potter movies?

Re: Thomas References
I recall that there was a bit on a Cartoon Network Show called MAD, where they did a parody of Thomas and crossing it with the movie "unstoppable" about a runaway train. Think of the bit as a really, really cheesy redo of that episode where Thomas' brakes weren't working

Re: Thomas References
Could you have chosen anything more Overrated? I've even tried remaking it once, but never got to finishing it.

Random fact: a picture on the Conservatives' manifesto features a child playing with a Wooden Railway set and some Take-n-Play engines..!
Re: Thomas References
I remember seeing an episode of Pointless in which the round was based on the Story Library series.

@ laG roiL
Overrated has absolutely nothing to do with it! This thread is about discussing Thomas references in other media, and that is what I am doing. I saw it myself... personally I thought the bit was ok, but not worth re-watching.

In The Big Bang Theory,in one of the episodes, you can see a Calling All Engines DVD in the background. Also, some guy mentioned Thomas the Tank Engine breakfast cereal.
Re: Thomas References
Really? Breakfast cereal? I'd be interested to see that.

Re: Thomas References
On another episode, Raj mentions that he bought Sheldon a "Talking Thomas the Tank Engine with 'real puffing smoke'".
Puffing smoke? What?
Puffing smoke? What?
Re: Thomas References
It's on my model train to; just means you can puff smoke out the funnel, like a real steam engine (for those unfamiliar with model trains)

I think Raj was referring to a knockoff toy I saw in one of Leo's Dark Side videos (forgot which one it was in).

Re: Thomas References
The Simpsons recently referenced Thomas the Tank Engine. The context was the two children finding an abandoned subway. If I recall correctly, the dialogue went like this -
"Wow, it's just like our own personal Thomas the Tank Engine!"
"Yeah, with no Sir Topham Hatt to boss me around."
